Article by: Martina d'Errico

Ventana Listening to the album of the word that recurred in most My head was just the name of another band: Slipknot. Then arrived at the Myspace of the group I was confirmed in seeing the pictures of members wearing suits and gas masks.

I was amazed by the fact that Ventana are not afraid of being labeled as unoriginal, or even exchanged for a quick look, for a tribute band in Des Moines.
However we think the music speak, and speaks very well. Of course, as you now understand the originality is not their strong point, but what do they do it well. Although on their website indicating the industrial genre as I played them more due to the wave nu-metal (although a bit 'behind the times), and in particular to that of 9 (8 now, unfortunately) masked. Even the voice of the singer follows in an impressive manner that Corey Taylor and the structure of songs, their melodic and be angry at the same time connects them directly to "Vol.3," as if "American Survival Guide" was a different version of DLO Slipknot same or had decided to continue this musical discourse. Now that they seem determined after the dissolution the severe loss of Paul Gray, the Ventana can apply them to the throne left empty, but maybe if things were not the case would never have succeeded a little otter 'attention. A special note I want to dedicate to cover "Cry Little Sister", the soundtrack of the movie "Lost Boys", revisited beautifully in key industrial.
