Avantra The Opus was formed in 1973 by a core consisting of the soprano Kathleen Del Monaco, the pianist and composer Alfredo Tisocco by the philosopher Giorgio Bisotto. The name is divided into three parts - OPUS (work), Havana (advanced) and TRA (tradition) - sums up the ideology of the group that intends to become a musical avant-garde movement, however, has its roots in the study and in the recovery of tradition.
